Brown trout (Salmo trutta), from the River Etive in the Scottish Highlands.

Wild trout often seem small and skinny creatures compared to the rather fat flabby specimens that can be photographed at other popular inland dive sites. It was a challenge to get close to these wild ones to get good shots.
